The journalist working for a TV channel was killed in Basra province by random shots fired by mourners of the funeral of Sheikh Ghanim clans, according to security sources quoted in media.

“The mourners of the funeral of Sheikh Othman Ghanim in al-Zubair district shot randomly as an expression of grief, but one of the bullets hit the reporter and photographer of Baghdad Satellite Channel, Wadah al-Hamdani ,” the source told Shafaq News. He added that the bullet hit his neck as killed him immediately.
