The 53-year-old veteran anchor of Fox affiliated WVUE (Fox 8) in New Orleans died when a small stunt plane in which she was shooting a story crashed, killing her and the pilot. Investigators said the plane was planning to land when it crashed in an open field. Ms Parker had worked at the station for 23 years, according to media reports.
