The International Federation of Journalists (IFJ) hosted and co-organised yesterday a one-day international partnership meeting on Yemen at the Brussels Press Club. The meeting brought together many stakeholders on press freedom and freedom of expression in Yemen and was attended by EU and UN officials as observers. At the end of the meeting, an action plan for the promotion of safe journalism and the safety of journalists in Yemen was agreed, including the launch of a Solidarity Fund.
