The director of Otro Nivel, a programme broadcast on Radio Opoa, La Voz de la Esperanza, a community radio dedicated to human Rights in the region, was shot dead in the department of Dulce Nombre de Copán, western Honduras.

The victim was shot three times in the head by unidentified gunmen.
