The freelance cameraman who contributed to several media outlets in Yemen was killed by a sniper in Taiz, the country’s second most populated city on 21 March, according to the IFJ affiliated Yemeni Journalists' Syndicate (YJS). Three other cameramen, Naef Wafi, Haikal al-Uraiki and Abdulqawi al-Azzani, were also wounded in the incident, the YJS added.
