The journalist, who worked for Radio Solidarité where he hosted the programmes "Konpa, Konpa" and "Samedi Culture", was shot several times near his home in downtown Port-au-Prince by people on motorbikes and died on the way to hospital. He became the seventh journalist to die in violent circumstances during 2022 in Haiti.
