The Afghan journalist and cameraman for the Kabul-based TV channel; Mitra TV, who was seriously injured during a suicide attack on the French cultural centre, died of his wounds in hospital, officials said. He had been in a coma for 10 days.

Hatami was among people injured during the bomb blast of 11 December which went off at the auditorium of the French Institute in the Afghan capital, Kabul. The attack occurred during a dance and music show entitled ‘Heartbeat, The Silence After The Explosion‘, which condemned suicide attacks in Kabul and across the country. One German national was also killed in the attack.
