Tenth Issue of IFJ Focus on Safety now Available

Welcome to the tenth issue of IFJ Focus on Safety, a monthly blog which tracks safety-related events of concern to journalists. The current issue features the violent riots outside Ukraine Parliament in Kiev which left five journalists injured and the mafia threats against Italian journalists for reporting on its boss’ show stopping funeral in Rome. It also includes the killings of journalists during August, the attacks on media in the Philippines as well the story of unlikely survival of a Somali journalist who ducked the Al-Shabab bullet. As usual, the issue has the IFJ International Code of Practice for the Safe Conduct of Journalism.
