The 54-year old owner of radio station Sin Fronteras 98.5 FM was gunned down and killed in front of the station’s offices in Pedro Juan Caballero, Paraguay, near the border with Brazil, according to media reports.
Reports quoted witnesses as saying that two armed men intercepted Vázquez while he left the station and shot him at point blank as he was en route to a club that he also owned.
