The 34-year-old photojournalist who contributed to the AFP and other major news organisations was gunned down by unidentified masked gunmen in Yemen’s southern city of Aden, according to the AFP.

He was shot while in his car, shortly after leaving his home in Aden, in what the authorities called “ an planned and organised assassination.” He was severely wounded and died later in the hospital.
