The journalist was attacked in the Ghaziabad District of Uttar Pradesh, when a group of men forcibly stopped his motorbike, beating him and shooting him in front of his two daughters. He died in hospital two days later. The attack was filmed on CCTV camera and the District police have arrested nine men in connection with the incident.
