The news editor of the daily Pakistan was among at least fifteen people killed in a suicide bomb attack on a political rally in the city of Peshawar, provincial capital of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, according to the Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists (PFUJ), an IFJ affiliate.
His colleague Azhar Ali Shah and Ehtesham Khan, a reporter for Express TV, were seriously injured, but their injuries were not considered life threatening.
