Camille Lepage

The 26 year–old French photojournalist was killed while on a reporting assignment in Central African Republic, French President Francois Hollande said Tuesday in a statement, vowing to make every effort to shed light on the murder.

Her body was discovered by French troops in CAR while they checked a vehicle driven by anti-balaka militia in the region of Bouar, in the west of the country, the statement added.

Ms Lepage worked for Hans Lucas, a Paris-based studio, and contributed to other publications such as Libération and Le Monde Diplomatique.
