The broadcast journalist who worked with Jubbaland TV died of injuries that he had sustained during a suicide bombing by the Al- Shaabaab militants in Beledeweyne on 10 September.
Two other journalists, Abdi Shakur Mohamed Hassan and Abdulkadir Omar Ibrahim were also injured in the attack when a suicide bomber detonated an explosive vest outside a restaurant in the Hiiraan region.
