The IFJ Annual General Meeting will start on 20 April, in the morning, at the offices of JUADN in Athens. Votes on the IFJ 2022 accounts and 2023 budget will be held during this hybrid event.
The half day General Meeting will be followed by the IFJ bi-annual Executive Committee meeting, which brings together 22 elected members from all over the world. The latest information on the situation of journalists around the world, project activities, finances and regional reports will be debated for one and a half days.
"These two days will be an opportunity to address the state of press freedom in Greece and how jobs are being targeted in our industry. We are very thankful to JUADN and ESPIT-PEPU for hosting us and giving us an opportunity to expand our expertise on the Greek media situation," said Dominique Pradalie, President of the IFJ.
